RE: IP_DVB: Current status and proposed AGENDA for SLC

	Gorry:

Great. Please provision 10 minutes in the
agenda for a presentation by Intel Corporation.
Also, do you have an idea for when (day, time) and
where the meeting may take place ?

	Thank you in advance.

Subject: IP_DVB: Current status and proposed AGENDA for SLC

The agenda for the next IETF meeting was posted at:

http://www.ietf.org/meetings/agenda_52.html

You will note there is NO official meeting on the subject of IP over DVB.
Several people attending the IETF WILL meet together to discuss the
future of this group and to prepare for future work in this area.
This meeting will be open, and you are warmly invited to attend.

The Agenda for the proposed discussion is:

1. Proposed Charter
Review the proposed charter to be submitted to the IETF
for work in this area.

2. Background
Present/discuss background to the need for work in this area.

3. Requirements Internet Draft
Several list members have been working together to draw up a
requirements document. This WILL be issued as an IETF ID, at the
moment only a draft of the draft exists and a URL will be posted
to a copy of this early next week.

4. Status of other proposed documents.
Documents have been identified with the following 3 topics by the
current proposed charter:
Encapsulation of IP datagrams
Unicast Address Resolution
Dynamic Multicast Address Resolution

5. Discussion of future plans
Future plans
Other meetings: Combined DVB-group meeting at the end of January

Please send email to: gorry@erg.abdn.ac.uk or A.Valentine@eu.hns.com
with any suggested amendments, or if you are able to contribute
approx 1-5 slides for a presentation (even if you may not be there!)

NOTE.

We hope to arrange the above meeting for Wednesday, time and place
to be announced. This is NOT an official IETF BoF, and there is
currently no IETF WG on this subject. The meeting above is an
open co-ordination meeting to which all are invited.
