This work is a short project to assess the design criteria for supporting ATM using radio links . The following criteria will be Transparency, Robustness, Minimal Bandwidth, Graceful Degradation and Minimal Modification to Commercial-off-The-Shelf (COTS) Equipment. The project will review commercial systems and suggest whether there is merit in developing an equipment to further extend the capabilities of the propsoed systems.
